The postings here are just a way to document the mini successes I had with respect to applying operations research concepts in real life. I am not saying I am a great OR practitioner but someone who started to see the beauty in that discipline like never before. I like OR from algorithms perspective rather than the modeling perspective. There's nothing like the feeling of an algorithm converging to that coveted point as predicted by a theory. It's a great feeling. My interests in algorithms started when I designed some genetic algorithms for cell design, neural networks, inductive machine learning algorithms and so on back in my graduate days. However, haven't really got a chance to work hands on until recently.
